Executing TurboFloatServer (error message saying I need to activate TurboFloat Server)Solved

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying your software (using Free account) and investigating your floating-licensing capabilities. I'm trying to start TurboFloatServer (Windows Pro x64) by executing "TurboFloatServer.exe -x", but, I'm getting error message saying I need to activate TurboFloat Server. Am I able to try (e.g. 30d) TurboFloatServer before buying it and how to do it (if possible) or I need to purchase at least Plus plan to play with it?

Thanks for great product,Nenad.

The error is telling you exactly what is wrong. Activate the TFS first (and yes, you can do it with the free plan).

Hi Wyatt,

Thank you very much. But, which product key should I apply? Should I get it from WyDay? In that case, should I write to support@wyday.com? I thought it's automated, sorry

Thanks,Nenad.

You log into LimeLM, click "create product key", select the type of key (for TFS in this case).

Wyatt,

Thank you very much for your help! It works perfectly!

I'm curious, is there a way to use some other identifier like email, instead of PC's username for per-user licensing? I can imagine a solution in which list of allowed emails (generally identifiers) are sent using custom-license-fields and licensed application asks user for email (generally identifier) and if there is a match, execution of licensed code is allowed. Is there some simpler / safer solution?

Thanks,Nenad.
