Windows 11 pro hyper visor (vm) is default setting, as it's been stated here many times, how do we use verified trials in our accounts using TA, allowing vm, as was instructed as one option to use TA & authenticate.

Verified trials are similar to product-key activations. That is, they lock the software to specific hardware. So a trial can be started on a machine, the customer could use your trial and completely wipe their system with a clean install, and when they re-launch your software the trial will still be expired. Because it's locked to the machine. See the docs.

You can, of course, extend the trial for the user.

Virtual machines aren't tethered to real hardware. They're pretend hardware made up by software (the vm). This is why we accurately detect virtual machines and give you options on what you want to do.

You've asked this multiple times, the answer is the same:

  • Prevent running trials or activating on Virtual Machines.
  • Allow running trial or activating on Virtual Machines.

The tradeoffs are described in detail in our docs. We give you options. You're not locked into what we think is best.

Actually we'v only discussed Windows 11 Hyper Visor default setting relegating app unable to authenticate since late 2024 and EOL AIR, New Harman SDK, Etc.

Are you saying verified trials will not be impacted by Windows 11 Hyper Visor and will authenticate without jumping through the hoops suggested with VM for TA Activation?

So solution 1. Have each and every new user go through deactivating hyper-visor and all of it's sub components to allow TA to authenticate?

Solution 2. Allow VM in LimeLM back office and allow unlimited versions of your software on as many machines as they wish because the physical security fingerprint on the individual pc is irrelevant, because it's tied to the VM install.

Hypervisor is a Virtual Machine. (See FAQ and previous discussions). The default behavior in LimeLM is to not allow verified trials in VMs/Hypervisors/Containers. You can change that on a per-version level to allow verified trials on VMs/Hypervisors/Containers.

Yes, VMs are pretend machines with pretend specs. We can't “break out” of the VM to access the real machine beneath it, nor can any other licensing solution. We just correctly detect it and give you options.

Solution 3.  Turbo float

There's no equivalent of TurboFloat for trials. But you could just start up a TFS instance and give them access for a while to give them an equivalent experience.
