Hey Don,
The thing that stops them is the TurboFloat Server. Namely, there's a maximum value of 90 days that TFS enforces: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/turbofloat-server/#config-isgenuine
My app currently uses node locked TurboActivate licensing, but I've been asked to consider offering a floating license option, i.e. TurboFloat. So I've been reading the docs.
Something I don't understand. The server exe should apparanty be installed as a service on the user's own business server, and seems to be passed an xml config file, and that config has options such as lease length, isgenuine check period, days between checks, grace period when activation lost etc.
I must be missing something obvious, but what is to stop the user from editing this xml config file to (say) give himself a million day grace period?

Ah, right. So for the grace period field it says maximum 14. I was indeed missing something obvious, thanks.
