Using LimeLM with Advanced Installer

I am currently looking into a Protection/Licensing suite for software. I came across your product on the Joelonsoftware.com website (discussions), and saw that LimeLM can be integrated with Inno and NSIS, but I wondered if it could be used with Advanced Installer as well. We are also looking into another solution, but LimeLM seems promising.

Thanks,Jim

Hey Jim,

Short answer: yes, you can use TurboActivate and TurboFloat with Advanced Installer (and any other installer in existence that provides a way to call DLLs).

Here's how you do it: http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-guide/custom-actions-list.html#call-std-dll

If you need specific help calling the TurboActivate functions from your installer of choice we'll be glad to help.

The best place to start is with our extensive examples and API: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/using-turboactivate/
