Prospective customer question

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating some licensing systems. Before starting a trial of LimeLM, I've read that a floating license server will be released soon, is that right ? Also:- What would be the price of this ? Will this be included in all plans ?- When will this be released ? Is it possible to try this yet or should I wait for it to be released ?

Regarding payment:- Can we pay in Euros ? Bank is charging fees for other currencies- What is your payment handler and where is it located ? Bank is charging fees for non-European payments

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

John.

Hey John,

Before starting a trial of LimeLM, I've read that a floating license server will be released soon, is that right ?

Yes, that's right. We plan to release it in about a week and a half (barring no unexpected bugs). Right now we're just cleaning up the release. Finishing the documentation and other language bindings (C#, Java, etc.), and running it all through the final stress tests.

Is it possible to try this yet or should I wait for it to be released ?

No you can't use it yet (it's in private beta with a few of our customers, but we're about to release, and thus we're not expanding the private beta). You'll be able to use it when it's released.

You can sign up for LimeLM right now and play around with TurboActivate. When we release TurboFloat (the floating license product) just email me and I'll extend your free trial of LimeLM so you can get 30 days to try out TurboFloat.

- What would be the price of this ? Will this be included in all plans ?

It's included in the Plus plan and above (we'll update that page to make it very clear when it's out in about 1.5 weeks). The other plans get a trial of TurboFloat so they can try it out and see if it's useful for their purposes.

Can we pay in Euros ? Bank is charging fees for other currencies

Currently we only accept payments in USD. Your credit card will do the conversion.

- What is your payment handler and where is it located ? Bank is charging fees for non-European payments

In the United States (specifically, Boston).

Thank you for the fast reply. I'd rather wait for the availability of the floating license solution to start the trial. Also monthly payment might be problematic due to bank fees which are fixed. Is it possible to have an annual payment ? or would you be able to provide a European payment handling system such as ShareIt or similar ?

Regards,

John.

Is it possible to have an annual payment ?

Sure, no problem.

or would you be able to provide a European payment handling system such as ShareIt or similar ?

In a couple of years we plan to have a presence in Europe and start accepting Euros, but it's still a longer term goal.

Yes, that's right. We plan to release it in about a week and a half (barring no unexpected bugs). Right now we're just cleaning up the release. Finishing the documentation and other language bindings (C#, Java, etc.), and running it all through the final stress tests.

Hi,Has the License server been released with the latest update ? Can I get more information from your web-site somewhere ?Regards.

Hey John,

We haven't released TurboFloat yet. We're fixing the last few remaining bugs. When we release it (soon) the signup page will show "floating licenses". Email me at support@wyday.com and I'll send you a ping when we release it.

Hi,Any news on TurboFloat ?Regards.

It's almost out.

Great! What would be the ETA ?

A week maybe 2.

TurboFloat is now out. A good place to start is here: "Using TurboFloat"
