do updates need to include the newer client.wyc?

When I create my update versions in wybuild, do I need to also add the new wybuild.exe and/or client.wyc in the "your programs folder"? Or does wybuild automatically update them when it downloads a new update?

wyUpdate.exe is automatically updated from our servers (and in 2.6.15 from google's servers as well). You can always host wyUpdate on your own server, but it's not required.

As far as client.wyc file is concerned, you should build wyUpdate for every release. This will output the latest wyUpdate.exe and client.wyc files that you should include with your installer. You should include the new client.wyc in your updates if you change something like the branding.

Does that make sense?
