We're using wyUpdate on about 100+ clients to update our quotes package. But on one clients pc wyupdate cant find any updates. It just sits on "searching for updates" with the little wheel rolling, but nothing happens.
The client is connected to the internet, and I can browse to where the updates are stored on our website.
I've turn off his firewall but still no luck.
The install/update works 100% on everybody else, just having trouble with him.
Any thing else I can try?

What versions of wyUpdate.exe and the AutomaticUpdater are you using? Right click, click properties.

thanks for the quick replies, but I'm leaning towards the guys computer is just cocked.
I've offered him the remote debug option, will let you know if he's keen.
There's one last thing you can try -- go to the "%userprofile%\wc" you'll see a bunch of files & folders. Back these up somewhere. Then delete all the files & folders in the %userprofile%\wc folder.
Then go to the "%appdata%\wyUpdate AU" folder. Again, backup the files & folders. Now delete the files & folders inside the "%appdata%\wyUpdate AU" folder.
Now re-reun your app and see if it updates correctly. If it does then make a copy of those corrupt files & folders. We'll need to see them to see why it's freezing.
