We've found this problem and we're fixing it for TurboActivate 3.0 coming in about 1 week.
Wyatt,We exchanged info in the past about this topic, but I couldn't find my post... sorry..
I have two identical laptops, with identical hardware and identical MAC addresses. I know you mentioned before that you can detect these as two different machines. Unfortunately, I am able to reuse the same product key between the two. This could be a big problem.
Thx,John

Wyatt,This is kind of a big issue. Not to put you on the spot, but is that "about a week" solid? This may be a show stopper for our release.
Thx,John
We're trying to get it out by Monday August 1. If we run into any problems this will push things back a couple of days. We're wrapping up development now and we'll be doing regression testing for remainder of this week.
Would you mind if I sent you a small app that you can run on your 2 identical laptops? We've tested our new algorithm on a number of identical laptops here and it successfully identifies them as different computers. If you don't mind running our simple little utility then send me a quick note at wyatt@wyday.com . I'll send you the utility to run.
