"Download Sites" never stores informationSolved

I seem to only recall once or twice that this actually remembered a previous address used. It usually shows up blank.

Did you click the "Add site" button? Or are you saying that after you've added the site to the list it disappears?

Yes I clicked Add site. So this morning it looked like the screenshot above, I added the site (once), and now after re-opening wyBuild later in the evening it looks like this: files.zanmgt.com/wyDay-issue6.JPG

I'll check it tomorrow after a computer restart and see if it's been cleared again, and otherwise try to retrace the exact steps.

We're fairly certain this is a bug in wyBuild, but we haven't been able to reproduce it. If you could reproduce it (and give us a step-by-step instructions) then we could fix this bug.

Well I also experienced this and at first thought I was doing something wrong =)This happens when you already have some versions in wybuild and click to add a new version (we have started using wybuild relatively soon and for now I have always renamed the version number from the default incremental naming). Now on this fresh new version you have the "download sites" field empty (not "refreshed"). When you close and reopen wybuild everything is ok. By the way this happens and with a "registry change" we have in wybuild - the %version% variable is also not refreshed when fresh new version is created. And one more minor thing I discovered - If I use %version% for "Output the wyUpdate files to" directory, the variable is not expanded - a folder with the name "%version%" is created =)

I hope you can reproduce that bug sine I was confronted with that odd behaviour, too.I didn't pay too much attention to it since restarting wybuild did cure the problem. It is a kind of annoying, though. If you still can't reproduce the error, let me know. I will try to reproduce the bug, but I can't guarantee I can reproduce it within a short time period.

Best regardsAndreas

I still can't reproduce it. Any clues would be helpful.

This is a bug, thanks for spotting it. We'll see if we can squeeze in a fix for the next version. Unfortunately, this isn't related to the "disappearing download sites" bug.

And one more minor thing I discovered - If I use %version% for "Output the wyUpdate files to" directory, the variable is not expanded - a folder with the name "%version%" is created =)

You can't use variables in the wyUpdate output folder.

Happened again, I hadn't been keeping track of exact steps, but this is what I just did:

- Opened WyBuild.exe- Clicked on my project "bubble" in "Recent projects..."- Clicked on General Information, then Theme, then Languages (without making changes)- Clicked on Update Information, added a new version (1.6.0), pasted new info- Clicked on Registry Changes (made no changes)- Clicked on Update Actions (made no changes)- Clicked on Download Sites

I'll try and monitor my steps more closely next time.

Thanks! Now I can reproduce this. We've tracked it down and it's fixed for the 2.6.14 release. Sorry for the trouble.

when is 2.6.14 comming out you said it would this week

We're shooting for this Tuesday (5/24). Sorry for the delays.

wyBuild 2.6.14 is now out. This bug is fixed. Sorry for the trouble.
