Hi,
We are getting questions from some of our customers about whether there are any dependencies on Java (and specifically log4j) used by LimeLM and related components in relation to the recent security issue discovered. It would be good to have an official communication on this. Many thanks!
Regards
We don't use Java in our infrastructure. It's slow, it's bloated, and it's inefficient. Yes, it's gotten better in the last decade, but so has every other programming language. Java cannot cost-effectively handle the hundreds of millions of daily cryptographically-intense transactions that LimeLM needs to handle.
So, no, we're not affected by this.
Many thanks for the swift reply.
