We have uploaded our files to 2 different servers. Under what circumstances will the files be downloaded form server B? What exactly has to happen to server A?

It has to be down for wyUpdate to talk to server B.

Are there any other cases? For instance, if server A is not down but the directory containing the updates has a wrong name (and so cannot be found), what will happen?

If there's an error downloading the first file, it tries the second file, and onward.
