Even from the host?
I've been using TurboActivate for a while without issue. Recently I installed the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL2) and have run into keying issues. If I setup my keys with “No VMs”, I cannot activate the product on my computer with WSL. When I enable VMs for the key, I am able to activate. Is this intended behavior? Or something others have run into?
I would prefer to disable VMs for my keys, but allow my clients to have WSL enabled. Then again, maybe I'm missing something obvious… thoughts?
If you have Hyper-V enabled then, yes, you're inside a VM. That's what a ring-0 hypervisor is (the Windows you're running under is in a VM).
