Thanks for the reply Wyatt,
What is the solve when the adapter is no longer in the machine and therefor can not be reenabled?
Hi all. Got this from a customer today
The trial has ended and it says I need to activate, thought I did, but it is also saying that there is an issue with my network cards so it can't activate. It's asking me to reactivate a network interface that is no longer available or even installed in the computer. I had a nic fail and I replaced it with a 10GB one. Nothing I try gets me past that network interface error part of the activation. What can I do?
Any suggestions?

All the other steps in the FAQ.
I have read the FAQ and all the steps about this, but I really do not see what else there is for me to try. I have just remoted into the customers system and as you can see in the screenshot, all network adapters are infact enabled.
Sure.
Is there not a way to reset this so LimeLM nolonger looks for the network adapter in question?
As described here and in the FAQ ad nauseum, use the latest version. Currently 4.4.1. Do that now.
Also, what version of Windows 10? If it’s not the latest have them upgrade first.
have they updated their drivers? Again, do that.
have they removed the broken hardware?
Hi Wyatt,
Latest version of Windows, and yes the broken NIC no longer exists. Today I have ran into another customer with this issue but this time the NIC is showing up in device manager like this. On this system I also updated to the latest TA (4.4.1.0).
If I can't get that NIC to start working again, what are my options?
Hello Wyatt.
I was able to resolve the issue with the customer. It turned out there was a broken NIC on the system in device manager. I uninstalled that and then reset the WMI and TA started working again!
In a future version, would it be possible to display the name of the NIC that TA is looking for that isn't working? It would make it a lot easier to track down the issue!
Happy New Year :)
Joe
