Like I said in the email, we can’t reproduce this. You said you used the x86 version of the TFS on a 64-bit machine. We did the same. Ours activated successfully.
If it’s a problem, we need enough information to reproduce it.
I cannot install the turbofloat server 4.4 because the -a command fails to activate it.

x86 and x64 do exactly the same thing. The following command fails to do anything other than print a blank line to the console window. This is an updated Windows 10 system. HP Probook650 with Intel CPU.
TurboFloatServer.exe -a="product-key-here"
The good news is that if the .dat or .xml file is missing, 4.4.0.0 will at least print the error message about that.
As I said in my email. The above command works perfectly with 4.3.3.0, but not 4.4.0.0.
email to me the TurboFloatServer.exe file which you said worked for you, and I'll give it a try.
