Need more protection for LimeLM registrySolvedLocked

"LimeLM does not write to the Windows registry."

My mistake.

Crackers say that they can delete the "registry" and use our software for free (we use LimeLM for license protection). I would assume the "registry" is "Windows Registry" created by LimeLM. Obviously, it is my mistake as you said "you don't write to the Windows registry". Could you look at LimeLM registry? It appears that crackers figure out how to manipulate the LimeLM "registry".

Last time we reported some activity done by crackers via your support emails, and it turned out crackers figured out how to manipulate the hidden folder created by LimeLM V4.096. It seems that now they have figured out how to manipulate the "registry" for V4.3.

There is no registry. Just because people write things on the internet does not mean it is true.

If ever there was a theme for this decade, it’s that.

Locking this topic. I locked the last topic for a reason.

  1. everything can be cracked easily.
  2. we don‘t sell snake oil.

This is covered at length in our forum. And our help articles.
