example.out failed to activate trialSolved

I have to use the dynamically linked version to learn how to integrate it into my product.  I setup the product with a 30 day trial, but the example.out failed to get into the trial branch.  The following is the error message: 

Not activated: hr = 0x3

TA_UseTrial failed: hr = 0x11

Product key failed to save: hr = 0x1

Hello world.

Any idea of how to troubleshoot this problem and make it work?

All errors are in TurboActivate.h. They tell you exactly what is going on.
