Mirror log files from license server to clients

Hi support,We have a user that has a turbofloat server, on which connect some number of client machines. The issue here is that the user wants the clients to have a view via the command line or via what easy and possible option you can suggest about the tfs log activities (Total available leases, which users the license is leased too, and all useful information that can help them contact the concerned person; for example to drop the lease or other actions).Could you please suggest how this can be done using the appropriates options you have.Thank you,Naoufel

We have 2 upcoming products to handle this. This first, is our hosted TFS instances (hosted on our infrastructure) will have a real-time view of all leases, how many remaining, etc. This is coming very soon (you'll see a blog post about it when it's released).

Later on we'll have another product coming (TurboFloat Server Manager) that will let you query TFS instances (where ever they're hosted -- even on our servers) to show real-time statistics.

So, the best solution is coming very soon in our hosted TFS instances.

Hi Wyatt,Thank you for the overview and for the helpful update. The first product is hosted on your website, so from my understanding it will not let the users of our client check the needed tfs info, or a connexion tool as standalone is available ?The second product seems more appropriate if the case is what I mentioned above, but will it need to update also the tfs server we have, or it supports older versions (ie; v 4.0.9.6).Could you please let us know an estimation of when these updates will come to public.Thank you,Naoufel

Correct, it's hosted on our infrastructure.

No, you would need to upgrade to the version that's out when we release it.

Nope. We have higher priority releases coming first. It's not being worked on at all right now.

Hi Wyatt,From what you answered, we prefer that you give the priority to the TurboFloat Server Manager feature compared to hosted one, for us it's important to get it first as it will be useful for all the TFS clients, not for products providers only.Thank you,Naoufel

LicenseChest and our hosted TFS instances will positively effect more people than a new library. Hence the priority on LicenseChest.

Also, we don't give dates or tip our hand on internal roadmaps. That has only worked out poorly for us in the past. We might announce potential release dates in the future when we have better time-tracking mechanisms in-place. However, even that's not a guarantee.
