Don't use Windows XP. It's no longer supported by anyone. Slow downloads? Likely owned by malicious hackers.
Use Windows 10.
Hi,
I encountered a problem when running wyUpdate on window xp.It took almost 5 minutes for wyupdate to search for new update before we are allowed to click update. After that, it took about 30 minutes before it can finish the update.
I'm using HTTP as the download option and connection to the HTTP site is okay.I tried to manually download from the HTTP site and speed is okay.
May I know what can cause the slow during check for update and also the update part?

We are running the upgrade in an intranet environment which does not have internet access.Plus i'm able to manual download the file quite fast . But through the wyUpdate, it is slow only. Anyway to check on this?
No, wyUpdate goes as fast as it can on the network. It doesn't throttle. So, likely a bug on the computer (you're on ancient Windows XP -- so ... not a surprise) or a bug in the network.
