TurboFloat Server (TFS) on Hypervisors / VMsSolved

Hi,I've installed turbofloat [Server] on my Windows machine that host HyperV virtual machine, so hypervisor is enabled. Every two weeks my license will be deactivated, and I know that this is the reason, as written in the documentation. My question is: this behavior only affect installation on Windows ? And only for HyperV technology ? Or is a common problem for other OS and VM types ? For example if my customer install turbofloat [Server] on Linux and use xen ? The same problem (license deactivation) occurs ?ThanksStefano

There's a reason we put a big red box on the page when you enable VM activations for TFS. Short answer: don't do it, ever. Longer answer: yes, you'll get that problem (as well as other problems) as described in the documentation: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/vm-hypervisor-licensing/

Instead, either use the TFS on a real machine. Or spin up a hosted TFS instance (out very soon): https://wyday.com/licensechest/help/create-tfs-instance/

The TurboFloat Library (inside your app) *can* be used on VMs (or real machines). It was designed for it.
