System is wrongly recognized as VMSolved

Hello,

One of our clients is unable to activate his Turbo Floating Server. During activation they receive the error: "Can't activate within a virtual machine or a hypervisor. Run this floating license server on real hardware"

Now apparently they are neither working in a VM, not have the Hyper-V Option in windows enabled. Is there anything else that might cause TurboFloat to (wrongly) recognize a real system as a VM?

Thank!

No, we err on the side of false-negatives (I.e. not recognizing some VMs as VMs).

Tell them to go into their BIOS and disable any BIOS level Hypervisor. Also, tell them to disable the Windows AV VM (see the FAQ, its been updated to cover those 2 things).

Also, containers and sandboxes are VMs and we recognize them as such.

Thank you Wyatt,

As always a fast and precise answer
