Turboactivate wizard not running

What could be preventing the Turboactivate wizard from running?

I have two different new clients reporting inability to use my application, more-or-less at the same time. They describe it as "hanging at the splash screen", but what this really means is that the Turboactivate wizard isn't appearing for initial activation.

I've had them try and run TurboActivate.exe manually from the program's directory, and no UI is visible at all (though task manager shows several TurboActivate processes all running at ~15% CPU - maybe each is thrashing one core on a hex core?)

Antivirus (Sophos) is also showing ~15% CPU, so my immediate guess was that it was blocking/interefering with TurboActivate in some way, but completely disabling it did not allow the wizard to display.

Unfortunately I can't replicate it myself, and can't easily get even remote access to the affected machines. How can I debug this? I can't find any logs created by the wizard. Is there a way of getting more debugging info out of it?

Since the TurboActivate wizard won't display even when run directly from the exe, I'm pretty confident my application isn't at fault.

I've had them verify they can reach https://wyday.com (though this doesn't feel like a connectivity issue).

Try using the latest version. If that doesn't work, try removing Sophos and using the built-in anti-virus in Windows (it's better than anything else, and it's free).

If using the latest version and using a good anti-virus doesn't work, then provide enough information so we can try to reproduce it.
