Questions about TurboFloat server installation for end-users

Hi Wyatt,

I have a product (Adobe Illustrator plugin) that is distributed to end-users.Currently, it is being protected by TurboActivate licensing.

However, I wanted to provide the features offered by TurboFloat licensing as well.

While reading about it, I came across this,"With a TurboFloat Server key you set the number of "License lease pool-size per key", which is the number of activations that will be used in your account when you generate the key. The key itself can only be activated with a single TurboFloat Server instance at a time."

In case of distribution to end-users who might/might not use a shared network, how will the server installation be handled?

eg, a user purchased a license key with 2 lease pools which he wants to use at his home and office computers respectively.

Where will the TurboFloat server be installed in this scenario?

I am sorry if my questions are dumb, but I am getting confused.

Looking forward to your answer.

They'd install it on their office network and VPN into their network.

Or, coming soon, they'd just spin up a TFS instance on our infrastructure and manage it with the click of a button.
