I don't know whether I've noticed that before, but the function - ta.IsGenuine(DaysBetweenChecks, GracePeriodLength, true) - takes some time to execute (about 7,183 time). Is that normal? or there is something causing this behavior?

Next, if you have very slow hard drives connected (or broken SD cards) then the first time this function is run in a process it can take longer. The solution: unplug slow SD cards.
We've fixed this issued (many and/or very slow and/or broken "storage devices") in TA / TF / TFS 4.4, out now.
