De Activate / Re Activate on a new Mac

Hi,

We use Turbo Activate for Mac for our current MacOS applications. The scenario that we usually come across is the following:1. User activates the app with the license key on his Mac2. User buys a new Mac, sells the old Mac.3. User puts a timemachine backup from the old Mac on his new Mac.4. User starts our app, the license of course does not work, because of the new hardware.

At the moment, there is no way for the customer (because we don't have the API for it at LimeLM, that is what we think) to de-activate his license on his old Mac (because he sold it) and activate it again on his new Mac.

Which workflow and technical solution is there available to us to solv this problem? At the moment, it is putting too much pressure on Customer Care because of these requests to de-activate and activate.

Thanks for your attention.Jan

Hey Jan,

We have a new interface coming soon that end-users can use that will give you the option of letting your users "remotely deactivate" (i.e. deactivate from within this interface) a certain number of times.

There will be more information about it on our blog in the coming months: https://wyday.com/blog/

Great, we are looking forward to that!
