VM False DetectionSolved

After running a trial of the licensed software, I am getting a VM detected message ("Failed to start the trial: The function failed because this instance of your program is running inside a virtual machine / hypervisor and you've prevented the function from running inside a VM.").

However, Hyper-V is not enabled or running. I am trying to add licensing information but this is preventing getting to any aspect of the application. This is quite a nuisance. Does anyone know how to correct this?

In newer versions of Windows 10 they've renamed (sort-of) Hyper-V to 3 or 4 different names. In short, turn all of them off (Hyper-V, Windows Hypervisor Platform, Windows Defender Application Guard, Virtual Machine Platform). Also, ensure your BIOS doesn't have a built-in Xen hypervisor (some Dell laptops and other corporate-style laptops do).

Also, we don't provide support for end-users. So, contact the company that makes the software. That's not us.

Very good, thank you Wyatt.
