You can use the activity to see when a product key was originally activated.
But for accurate meta data thats entirely in your control you should always use custom license fields: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/license-features/
Activation Date Reset
We have notice that many of the activation dates have been changed from the original activation of the software. They have not been deactivated, or reactivated. This is a big problem, as we used the original activation dates to determine when maintenance contracts are renewed.
