What about letting users to reset their key?

Hi,

First, thank you for the new version. After many months of using it we are happy to say most major problems are resolved and it's overall a smooth ride maybe with a small exception I mentioned in another post.I remember you were considering implementing a feature to give users an option to log-in and do some operations on their key (deactivating, looking at number of active activations etc.). Is it still on the table? Any progress?

I am asking because it turns out a request to reset an activation is something we get very often. Usually the reason is lost computer or major hardware change the user didn't expect to trigger the licensing system.

Best regards and thank you for great work!

We're releasing a new "customer portal" for end-users (your customers) where they can enter their product key to claim it for themselves, and do things like:

- Offline activation- View current activations- "remotely" deactivate- Etc.

Each of those things can be enabled on a per-account or per-key basis (meaning by default, the customer will only be able to view their activations, but you'll need to enable whether they can do things like offline activate, remotely deactivate, etc.)

We've been working on this for the last year and a half and we're nearing the release. No hard date, ASAP.

Ok, thank you, that's great to hear. There is no hurry. I am happy it's in the plans!
