Feature request: simulated TA static library

Hi Wyatt,

We're coming to a point in our testing where it would be useful to simulate a bunch of trial and/or operational conditions, and make sure that our code does the right thing in each of them.

As such, it would be useful to have a version of TurboActivate, not for redistribution, that can be asked to simulate a variety of failure modes and conditions.

For example, it would be handy to ask TA to act as though there are N days remaining in a trial. Or, that it should act as though a trial is expired.

As it stands, we have to create individual VMs for each individual test case.
