WMI COM error

Hi,I have an issue with a user who is getting the error "CoInitializeEx failed: Re-enable Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service..". This is the error that we display in our app, the error from ta.exe is "A COM error occurred...".User is running Windows 8.1 and states that the error started after a Windows update. I have talked her through the usual things; ensure WMI service is running, run our app (and ta.exe) as administrator etc. She has also followed the advice on the FAQ on this site concerning a similar issue. No progress so far.Any more ideas for diagnostic stuff please, or is this a Windows issue - if so, any advice on solving?thanks,Matt

First, use the latest version. If the customer is not using the latest version, then stop everything, update your app to use the latest version of TurboActivate, and then try again.

If (*only after updating to the latest version*) the customer is still getting the error we have a full description of the way to debug it in TurboActivate.h. Again, see the latest version.

Yes, latest version. I am running c# version - do you have a link to this debug description?

OK I have asked her to do the Computer Management thing, let's see what she comes back with.thanks,Matt
