No. If they messed up the proxy settings in IE they can fix them. If you want to make a custom dialog for proxies, you can. But it's certainly not required.
I am creating my own UI for the activation wizard on my Windows .NET app and would like to know if I should go ahead an create a screen for entering proxy settings or not since TurboActivate seems to use the default proxy settings automatically.
I am not too knowledgeable on proxies, but I have read your article here: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/proxies-in-turboactivate/
Is it common, or ever the case, that the default proxies in TurboActivate are not correct and that they would have to be manually specified? It sounds like if IE has internet access on the computer being activated then TurboActivate should always work.
Would there ever be a situation where the IE settings wouldn't work and the proxy settings would need to be manually specified?
