Where are the license information stored on the back-end server? How secure is this information and who has access to it (the hosting company?...)?
Only our senior engineers have access to the servers.
What is the availability of the activation services?
We have greater than 99.9% uptime. The rare occasion that we do go down it's a result of either a DDoS attack from China (which is quickly resolved), or it's system maintenance (usually only a few minutes on the weekend).
What will happen if your service is down? Any suggested approaches or workarounds in case this happens?
When LimeLM is down the activation can't go through. Which is why we scramble to fix any downtime as fast as we can. We take uptime seriously.
