Do pricing plans auto-upgrade when you reach your activation limit?

Do plan upgrades happen automatically if you reach your activation limit? For example, suppose you are on the Solo plan and you are having a product launch or your product gets some press and your total activations quickly jumps in a single day to over 300 activations or 6000 trial activations.

What happens in this situation?

Will LimeLM still accept new activations beyond the 300 or 6000 and automatically upgrade your plan to the next level or does it stop accepting new activations and the pricing plan has to be manually upgraded?

If you use the web API to generate product keys, then your plan will automatically be upgraded when you go higher than your plan allows (for both product keys and verified trials).

If you use the LimeLM interface to manually generate keys then you're notified right on screen and given the option of automatically upgrading to the next highest plan.
