Problem with the latest version

Hi. I have just upgraded to wyBuild 2.0.3.0, and then I started to have problems. 1) The language of the wyUpdate.exe file is english, and no matter what I do, I can't change it. It stays english. 2) When I build wyUpdate everything is ok, but when I try to build Updates I get this error message "The update filename needs to contain %versionfrom% because there will be multiple update files generated"but I tried adding this variable to the "Download Site" field, and it lookes like this "http://update.mysite.com/%versionfrom%_%file%". Doesn't work. Still getting this error. I've changed the address in the "Download Site String", because I don't want a free commercial. ;)I have also selected following: Create the update from all previous versions to the latest version (1.3.2.7)

I can't go arround this. Any help?

You need to check the language boxes next to the languages you want. Then, rebuild the client. The languages are loaded based on the language of Windows. That is, if you're running the German version of Windows, the German language file will load.

That's a bug. A quick fix is to go to "File > Properties > Update & server files" and add %versionfrom% to the update filename.

Sorry about that though. I'll upload a fixed version later today.

Well, I figured as much.

I did check the language box, and I check only Serbian, but when I start the Client it is still in English. Well, I don't get this. My Windows is in English, but the Client should be in Serbian, since I only checked the Serbian box. Right?

Thanks! The fix worked! Well, this only leaves the language problem. Any hint with that?

Cheers, Ivan.

Well, this is partially by design. English is the default fallback language. That is, it's included no matter what (because it's hardcoded into wyUpdate), and it's used if none of the other included languages match the language of Windows.

As it is now, there's no way to override the loaded language.

Is there a Serbian language pack that Microsoft releases? If so, do your users have it installed?

Yes, there is Serbian language pack. Some of them will use Windows with Serbian Language Pack, but most of my users won't. Most of my users will use Windows in English. So, the language of the Client must be the same as Windows language? My software is completly in Serbian, I can't let the update be in English. Is there a workaround? Is there a way I could go around it?

Thanks, Ivan.

Ok, I see what you mean. I'll fix it so if you de-select English it will fall back on the first "other" language (in your case, Serbian).

Does this work for you?

Yes it does! Great!
