Static files?Solved

Updater seems to do exatly what i ant except that it always overwrites my config filles? i have file call server.config...

If i add the file to patch, it overwrites the destination copy!If i do not include in patch, its deleted!

I do not need this file in the patch and i do not want it deleted from the desitnation, please help?

BTW, im using this with a windows service.

Not sure what i have to do? Do i have to store the file in a different location?

My config file is in the "Your programs folder" dir in wyBuild?

Can you tell me exactly what about the FAQ is confusing so I can address that. Right now, the only way I could explain what you have to do is by re-explaining what's already in the FAQ.

You can generate / update / apply new defaults directly within your application. Merge defaults??? and user configurations however you'd like. This is the best approach....

Basically have a server.config on the destination that should not be deleted ot overwritten...the above statement doesn't really explain what steps i need to take to do this..

Ok, exclude that server.config from every version in wyBuild. And then it won't be touched. Meaning, in wyBuild delete that file from every single version.
