Downloading error in Win 10

We are about to migrate to windows 10 but for some reason we cannot make wyUpdate to work in W10 as it is working now in windows 7, the error we get is Error trying to save file:.. Could not find a part of the path...We are uploading update files to a FTP address and using a regular file path to download updates to users. Please help.

More information is needed. What happens when you copy & paste the URL in wyUpdate into Internet Explorer? Does it also fail? Then the URL is incorrect.

Also, don't use FTP. Yes, it's fully supported, but it's an insecure protocol. Use HTTPS.

I have the same issue in w10 enterprise

this is the message if error "Error trying to save file: Error downloading "file:///F:/folder1/folder2/folder3/folder4/myfile2.all.2.3.18.wyu": Could not find a part of the path 'F:\folder1\folder2\folder3\folder4\myfile2.all.2.3.18.wyu'.

The F drive is a network drive, the users authenticate at the logon.and can not update the program...

I copy the path and paste in IE and works great. The save as appearand woila, the file is saved.

best regards 🙁

We can't reproduce this here. Make sure you have access to the file (and that wyUpdate has access to the file).
