Turbo Activate & Dynamic Proxies

Hi guys,

This must be common question, but I can't find a definite answer. Does TurboActivate not work with dynamic proxy configurations? We have clients and potential clients experiencing connection problems when trying to activate our product.I have found this sentence of yours in a post from 2007. Is this still the case?

"...TurboActivate does work with auto proxy, however it rejects incorrect and buggy auto-proxy scripts..."

We successfully did an offline activation with one of them, but that wouldn't be an acceptable procedure for the many licenses they would like to purchase.

They say that they have an ip address and port number which they enter in products with proxy problems so they can connect to the outside. Where would such an address go in the TA API (if you have such an option).

...as you can guess, I'm not really a network/proxy geek.

TurboActivate reads all well-configured proxies and dynamic proxies. If the customer is running into problems make sure (a) you're using the latest TA (current 4.0.9.6) and (b) the customer isn't actively blocking TurboActivate or wyDay: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/faq/#internet-error
