In testing even though I have deactivated the test app is showing as Genuine. How/where is the local file so I can go through the whole activation process.

If you're clicking "Deactivate" from within the LimeLM interface it tells you that even though you click that link the end-user will still remain activated until your app re-verifies with the activation servers (every nDaysBetweenChecks).

To Deactivate immediately call the TA_Deactivate() function from within your app.
