[LimeLM/TurboActivation] Activation Failed - Error Code 1

Hi there,

I have a customer trying to activate his license for one of my products and it's not working - when using TurboActivate (as administrator) it's returning "error code 1".

We're running TurboActivate as an admin, I've also tried typing out the key/removing trailing data etc, along with getting a fresh install of his VPS with no success.

On an important note it seems to be limited to one specific product on this machine - he's able to activate my other products/versions on the same machine using TurboActivate.

We've tried offline activations too but the offline activation request file is corrupt/invalid.

Any help would be appreciated!

Much more information is needed. We should make a FAQ on this.

1. Operating system?

2. Operating system version?

3. Version of TurboActivate? If it's not the latest, first try the latest, and then get back to us if you still have a problem (it's not a good use of our engineering resources to track down bugs that we've already fixed)

4. What function are you calling?

Also, we've just released TA, TF, and TFS 4.0.9.6. We've fixed a number of obscure bugs. Include that version in your app and have the end-user try again.

If they're still running into problems then we need more information (starting with the questions I've asked in the previous post).

I updated and that seemed to fix the activation error but has created the network adaptor error.

My customer is running my software on a server so manually disabling the network adaptor isn't an option without losing connectivity. I've tried using the newest TurboActivate as an administrator.

When my customer gets back online I'll email you the results of the PowerShell commands you gave me before.
