Yes. Although you should push to eventually get all versions using the latest version of the TurboFloat Library (there are many bug fixes small and large).

Unfortunately one of our customers has issues with older clients. The used floating server version is 4.0.9.3. Clients with the latest version of TF can connect without issues, but older clients using V3.5.5.2 report that there is no connection to the TF Server.
In the server log it looks like this:Failed to clean the client-supplied activation block.Failed to process the request: ios_base::failbit set: iostream stream error
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,J

TurboFloat Server 4.0.9.6 fixes the logging issue when TFS had the log-level to notification. You can get the latest version here: https://wyday.com/limelm/api/#turbofloat
I just got feedback from our customer, trying version 4.0.9.6
Sadly it's still the same problem:No connection to floating license server...
Log:Failed to clean the client-supplied activation block.Failed to process the request: ios_base::failbit set: iostream stream error
Clients 4.x work, 3.x not. Telnet to the server+port works however.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,J

We can't reproduce this here. Can you reproduce it?
If not, can you tell us the OS/Version that the customer is running the TFS on and the OS/Version that the customer is running your app on?
Preferabbly can you also send their 'TurboFloatServer-config.xml" file so we can try to reproduce the exact conditions they're under in an effort to reproduce this.
You can send the file to wyatt@wyday.com
In my testing, when a client running 3.5 tries to log onto a 4.0 server, it takes the server down (i.e. the Service status is no longer "Started"). Running Windows 7 on both. Server is host, and client is in VMware workstation.
I just tested TF 4.0.9.6 and it appears to have fixed this issue. My client running 3.5 was able to logon and logoff without any trouble.
@just

Our customer tried the new version today and it works now.Thank you very much for your help.
