Linux activation issue

Hello,

I'm trying to activate an application on OpenSUSE 42.2 and the application claims I'm not able to access the activation server. I've wiresharked the traffic and it looks like I'm successfully establishing a connection with each server that the program attempts to access. One of the addresses I found in the traffic was for Wyday.com and on the program's forums there were several mentions of wyday and limeLM so here I am hoping that you can help me, as their support seems to have no clue what the issue is.

Are you the application developer or a user of the application? If you're just a user of the app, there's not much we can help you with directly (because we need to work with the developers of the application).

You can loop us in with the developers of the app (cc us with our support email support@wyday.com) and we'll work on solving the problem together.

I'm not a developer, I'm just wanting to activate my purchased software without being forced to use god awful Ubuntu. Perhaps there are more general tips I can try that could help with activation?

We don't require Ubuntu. We work with all modern versions of Linux that are well configured. Namely, they need to have some base libraries and must have CACerts installed and up-to-date: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/faq/#internet-error

My guess is that is what the problem is (no installed, or not up-to-date version of CACerts installed). Or installed in a weird location.
