Martin1Hi, we currently subscribe to your Basic plan. We have around 500 users.
Sadly, our app has not been doing as well as we hoped, and we have decided to stop selling it for now (until we do some major updates, possibly many months). We would like to put our account "on hold" with you, meaning that we don't need any new keys or activations to be generated, but we would still like to be able to reset old users' activations if they ask us.
It doesn't seem like canceling our account would work, because it says "you won't be able to deactivate them via the web interface".
Therefore my question is, what is the alternative option? It doesn't seem fair that we should have to keep paying the full monthly price if we aren't getting any new customers.

Hey Martin,
Putting your account in dormant mode is really the only option. Your customers will still be able to activate and deactivate your app. However you will need an active account to make any changes to the keys, activations, verified trials, etc.
Martin1Ok thanks, so if I put it into dormant mode can I then make it un-dormant for a month if I have to make changes, and then put it back to dormant again?
Yep, you can do that.
Mikehi i have a similar question. our account has been dormant. we were subscribed to the "plus" level. we need to reinstate the account to manage a few keys.
in our account page, it provides a reinstate button for every price level, even the ones below "plus". this doesn't make sense to me. what happens, for example, if i reinstate at "solo" or "basic" instead of plus? will we lose the keys we already have?
Nope -- if you can't re-instate your account at a lower plan level because of existing keys, activations, verified trials, users, etc., then LimeLM will tell you as much.
