Changing the system date

I have a piece of software being developed that has the LimeLM licensing system installed. My developer says that we need to build in an extra level of security because...

If the end users changes their computer system date - they can extend the trial. Is that correct?

Also, it's not possible to limit the software to only launch say 10 times during a trial?

Are both of these statements correct?

Hey Nick,

>> "If the end users changes their computer system date - they can extend the trial. Is that correct?"

If you're using verified trials, not really. There are still some client-side shenanigans a customer can pull, but we're reducing those with every release of TurboActivate.

If you're not using verified trials, well... use verified trials: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/trials/#verified

Nope, we don't currently have a way to limit a user's access like that. We do have plans for it, but it's still in the planning stages. If you want to limit how often a user runs you app then you have to keep track of that data.
