License Fields

Hey guys!

quick question....Can this new License Fields feature I see work if a PC is not connected to the internet?Or does the PC need to contact your server first, active the license and then and only then this extra signed text file is downloaded to the local machine?

What I'd like to do is use these to bind to USB Flash drives or iLok2's serial numbers and put that number as a License Field that my program will read on launch and check if that USB Serial number exists on the system.In the audio world many guys are working at a different facility weekly and places like Sony Pictures and many places around Los Angeles all have the internet disconnected for security reasons...8(

Your customers can use custom license fields without being connected to the internet.

oooohhhh....nice! 8)Ok then I will definitely devote a few days to testing this all next month as a hopeful replacement for our current USB Device binding system we use.
