Hey Pieter-Jan,
This is actually covered here: https://wyday.com/wybuild/help/faq.php#silent-hide-2
Let me know if that helps.
Hi,
I'm still evaluating wyBuild & wyUpdate 🙂 Currently I'm attempting a silent update, following the instructions on page http://wyday.com/wybuild/help/silent-checking.php. Unfortunately it appears to be only a silent check, as the title of the article suggests. Most of the procedure is silent, but not the end, where wyUpdate displays an "Update successful!" dialog and waits for "Click Finish to exit".
Is there any way to prevent this and make the update procedure completely silent?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,Pieter-Jan de Vries

Hi Wyatt,
Thanks for your swift response.
That FAQ article certainly helps. Checking "Close wyUpdate on succesful update" prevents that last bit of user interaction. Is it also possible to suppress display of the update dialog all together?
Kind regards,Pieter-Jan de Vries
No, the only way you can hide the UI altogether is to just run wyUpdate from a Windows Services (which comes with its own complications).
O.k. Thanks for your help. I don't like complications, so I'll leave it as it is for the time being 🙂
