TurboFloat: how to know the number for floating licences?

Hi guys,

Using turbo float, how can I know the number of floating licences are registered in the key?

Is there a way using GetFeatureValue() or something similar to know how many licences are registered in the key? (I do not want to know how many are used or left, but just the total number.)

If this is actually not available, will it be in version 4?

Thank you and have a great day,Alexandre Leclerc

Hey Alexandre,

This information is not available to TFS 3.x users. However, with 4.0 the information will be available from the TurboFloat Server by using the -v commandline switch.

The information will not be available using the TurboFloat Library. Although we do have a planned "server management" library that this information will be available to (this is coming later next year).

Hi Wyatt,

Thank you for the information. In the meanwhile Ill use a temporary solution by using a custom feature field to duplicate this information.

If its available with a command line switch, it will be fine to start with because we build ourselves a server manager (we could not wait to have it) and it will be very easy for us to get the information available to client stations.

So Im eager to see 4.0 coming out and see all the hard work you made guys!

Best regards,Alexandre Leclerc
