wyUpdate by design only allow 1 instance per product to run at any one time. This is expected behavior (and exactly what you want). You wouldn't want multiple instances of wyUpdate to be trying to update the exact same installation.

I'm having an issue where a piece of software that needs to be updated (and there's a new update to apply) fails to do so (running wyupdate as admin), because the program is already running under a different (non-admin) account in the system. Then when that non-admin user comes back, he'll see that the update failed.
It's a common scenario in environments where many people can access a workstation and each one of them can have the software running. Some may forget to log off and they just switch accounts, and this may lead to the problem at hand.
My best guess is that as it's running, wyUpdate cannot change those files, but even if that's the case, I'm not certain how to address it.
