URGENT: IsGenuine returns InternetError

I have used TurboActivate for 3 years with no problems at all. Today I am being inundated with support from users who cannot verify their license.

The problem is that a call to IsGenuine returns a IsGenuine.InternetError response, the users have internet connections and can access wyday.com.

I notice that all users contacting me are ones that use a VPS to run the software. I even have some users that have multiple activations and they can get a valid response from a home laptop whilst the same license key returns the above error when performed on the VPS.

Something has changed at wyday, can you please undo the recent changes so I can get my users up and running.

Also, as developers with live products relying on TurboActivate we need some system from wyday to be informed of changes / developments and the implications they will have. If changes are needed our end then we need time to develop and roll out a new version, this is totally unexpected and makes me look bad and uninformed to my customers.

We recently underwent a pretty nasty DDoS attack and had to swap out our IP addresses. So if your customers DNS servers haven't updated yet (which might take up to 24 hours on especially slow DNS servers -- so about 11 more hours from when I'm writing this) then they'll still be getting an old IP address.

I wrote a blog post about this: https://wyday.com/blog/2016/ddos-mitigation-and-expanding-our-servers/

Ok, I'll wait 12 hours and see if the problem gets resolved, I'm going to have some unhappy customers!

Can we have a system on wyday where we can subscribe an email address and you send email notifications of changes and direct us to the relevant blog post. At least users of wyday would be aware of changes / potential issues allowing us to email our user base if necessary.

We don't have a system like that in place right now. But that's a good idea. We'll work on this problem.
