Customer gets Product Key In Use Message Often

I have a client that continues to get locked out of their program. They get the message product key is already in use even though they have changed nothing on their computer. I do know that they have their IT who has admin rights to install and activate their programs. What is causing this and how can we fix it? I have even had them log in to the program while on they are logged into their network then go outside the office and login to the internet from a hotspot and even though my program does not require internet it is local install they go to open the program and get the message product key is already in use.

This is happening way to often and I hope you have a solid solution for me as I did not have this issue with previous license program with this client.

Thanks in advance Josh

Hey Josh,

A lot more information is needed. Starting with the product key (or product keys) that the customer is using.

My guess is that the customer is disabling network adapters. The solution: don't do that.

The longer-term solution: use TurboActivate 4.0 when it's out very shortly (it works around this interesting user behavior, as well as fixing other possible false negatives).

But we'll only be able to tell you for sure what's happening if you give us more information. Shoot us the product keys at support@wyday.com and we'll take a look at it.

I sent the product key via email per your request

ThanksJosh

Hello,

I emailed you the requested product key on July 20th and still have not received a response from anyone. Please respond as soon as possible. This is a real problem that I deal with daily.

Thank youJosh

Hey Josh,

Sorry for the delayed response.

The problem with that particular customer is their BIOS and/or Motherboard is changing. TurboActivate rightly sees this type of change as a new computer.

The solution for this customer is this: they must deactivate your software before they swap-out their motherboard or they modify their BIOS.

Also, in the updated LimeLM interface coming later this year, we're also going to make it much easier for you to debug this yourself directly from within LimeLM. Namely, you'll be able to select 2 activations and have LimeLM tell you exactly what I just told you. This will give you the information you need immediately without having to request us manually analyze things.
