Can we convert wyupdate code into dll

Hi,

It is possible that i can wrap wyupdate source code into new dll and wrap it into my application exe?Is there any restriction on this or any challenges in this?

There are lots of restrictions. Basically your app would have to rebuild almost all of the functionality of wyUpdate.exe to allow for self-updates and UAC handling.

Short answer: it's possible but not worth the wasted development hours.

You need self-update. Short answer: don't do it. It's complicated, and we don't have the time or willingness to help you re-create the functionality of wyUpdate inside your app. Just use wyUpdate.
