Trial reset - wrong time at startAnswered

We are using unverified trials (and no, we cannot switch to verified ones) and have a customer who started a trial on an offline machine that was one hour off. Later the machine connected, time got synced and he can no longer run the trial.

Is there any way I can help the customer reset the trial without letting them know which file to delete? 

I'm sorry, I am not a developer. Can you help me understand this a bit better? It looks like we would have to re-build our product with the call to TA_ExtendTrial. If we do that, would that mean the customer gets a one-time extension? What would prevent them from abusing this? How long would the extension be?

 

Well… if you used verified trials they could use it once and it would never be abused. There are so many reasons to use verified trials.

But yes, to use trial extensions you have to add the ability to your app.
